Omar Alva currently serves as the Vice President of Center of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence at ShiftAvenue. His previous positions include Technical Architect at MunichRe, Cloud and Linux Engineer at Verizon, and Team Lead at Dell Inc. Omar has vast experience working with Linux and Open Source technologies in hybrid infrastructures, utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure for cloud solutions, VMware for virtualization, and HP, IBM, and Dell for on-premise systems. He has also participated as a speaker in conferences held across various countries, including Mexico, the US, and Germany. Currently, Omar is among the organizers of DevOpsDays Los Angeles, USA.
Ralf Richter is a Distinguished Cloud Consultant and Cloud Solution Architect at shiftavenue. His expertise is derived from several years of experience with extensive cutting edge projects, among others in the automotive, health and industrial environment with a focus on the Internet of Things and Microsoft Azure. Community is a big topic for him, proven by beeing founder and orga of Azure Dev Meetup Munich and the Azure Developer Community Day

All live stream organizers using the Global Azure brand and Global Azure speakers are responsible for knowing and abiding by these standards. Each speaker who wishes to submit through our Call for Presentations needs to read and accept the Code of Conduct. We encourage every organizer and attendee to assist in creating a welcoming and safe environment. Live stream organizers are required to inform and enforce the Code of Conduct if they accept community content to their stream.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, report it. Please report any concerns, suspicious or disruptive activity or behavior directly to any of the live stream organizers, or directly to the Global Azure admins at team@globalazure.net. All reports to the Global admin team will remain confidential.
We expect local organizers to set up and enforce a Code of Conduct for all Global Azure live stream.
