Managing Azure Policy through the portal can be a hassle, especially when your tenant(s) become of a certain size. In this session we take a lookat the Enterprise Policy as Code (EPAC) solution from Microsoft. EPAC comprises a number of scripts which can be used in CI/CD based system or a semi-automated use to deploy Policies, Policy Sets, Assignments, Policy Exemptions and Role Assignments. In this session: - What is EPAC and how does it work? - How does EPAC relate to Landing Zones and AzAdvertizer - Determine your Desired State Strategy - Managing Policies, PolicySets (Initiatives) and Assignments walk through After this session you have a good understanding on how EPAC works and a good idea on where to start your own PoC and implementation.

Bastiaan is an experienced IT infrastructure guy and Microsoft MVP who focuses on Microsoft Azure and software architecture. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Bastiaan now lives in Norway and works as an independent consultant. He is a big supporter of the “work hard, play harder” movement (if there is one…) and enjoys exchanging knowledge and experiences with others.

Who does this Code of Conduct apply to?

All live stream organizers using the Global Azure brand and Global Azure speakers are responsible for knowing and abiding by these standards. Each speaker who wishes to submit through our Call for Presentations needs to read and accept the Code of Conduct. We encourage every organizer and attendee to assist in creating a welcoming and safe environment. Live stream organizers are required to inform and enforce the Code of Conduct if they accept community content to their stream.

Where can I get help?

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, report it. Please report any concerns, suspicious or disruptive activity or behavior directly to any of the live stream organizers, or directly to the Global Azure admins at team@globalazure.net. All reports to the Global admin team will remain confidential.

Code of Conduct for local live streams

We expect local organizers to set up and enforce a Code of Conduct for all Global Azure live stream.
