This session provides an introduction to quantum machine learning (QML) and how it can be implemented using Azure Quantum. I'll explore the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics that underpin QML and introduce popular QML algorithms, such as quantum support vector machines and quantum neural networks. I'll showcase how to use the Azure Quantum Development Kit to develop and simulate QML models on a local simulator, as well as how to deploy those models to Azure Quantum hardware. Finally, I'll discuss some real-world examples of how QML has been used to solve complex problems in industries such as finance, healthcare, and materials science. By the end of this session, attendees will have a foundational understanding of QML and be equipped with the knowledge to start exploring the field on their own using Azure Quantum.
I am a computer engineering student at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Thailand, with a strong interest in Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence. For me, learning is the best investment, and I am always seeking opportunities to grow and contribute something meaningful to the world. In addition to my studies, I have gained valuable experience through my involvement in various extracurricular activities. These include serving as a teaching assistant in Digital Electronics and Logic Design, heading a welcome camp, and participating in a variety of events that have helped me develop my soft skills. I have also participated in a number of competitions, including start-up contests to improve my business knowledge and pitching skills, as well as research competitions focused on quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Additionally, I recently completed a project for the National Software Contest in Thailand, which involved OCR and applied my knowledge of artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Currently, I am a member of the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors, where I help lead Thai student developer communities and empower students to become citizen developers through workshops, tutorials, and events focused on Microsoft Azure, Azure AI, Azure Quantum, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Power Apps. Over the past year, I have conducted 10 events with over 1,800 student attendees. Lastly, I am looking for a job related to Artificial intelligence and Data fields such as Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Ai Engineer or Researcher.
